Buyer question / selection note

How should I compare jaw crusher quotations?

A jaw crusher cannot be priced responsibly from capacity alone. Give every supplier the same feed data, model duty, delivery country, trade term, voltage, spare package, freight, and installation boundary, then compare one normalized bill of quantity.

01 / Decision summary

Quick takeaways

  1. 01Treat public prices without a model and delivery boundary as non-comparable.
  2. 02Normalize steel weight, bearing brand, jaw plate material, motor, and controls.
  3. 03Separate machine price from freight, installation, civil work, and commissioning.
  4. 04Compare delivered scope and operating risk, not only the ex-works number.

Selection guidance

01

Why a public price would mislead

Feed opening, actual duty, motor package, frame and shaft design margin, wear-part grade, electrical standard, and delivery country all change the quotation. A number without these boundaries looks precise but does not describe the same machine or scope.

02

The comparison sheet every supplier should complete

Ask each supplier for full model specifications, motor brand and voltage, included spare parts, trade term, freight boundary, lead time, installation supervision scope, warranty terms, and a wear-part forecast for the intended duty.

03

Reject a quote before comparing its price

Reject or clarify quotations that omit maximum feed, closed-side setting, expected duty, steel and bearing specification, included spares, or delivery boundary. Then calculate headroom from peak feed, feed grading, wear derating, availability, downstream capacity, and recirculation load.

Frequently asked questions

01
Why is there no price range on this page?
A range without a model, quotation date, country, trade term, electrical scope, freight, and service boundary would mix non-equivalent offers and could mislead a buyer.
02
How should buyers compare jaw crusher quotes?
Compare full delivered scope: machine specs, electrical package, spare parts, installation support, lead time, and warranty terms. Do not compare only ex-works price.
03
Should I size the crusher for exact average throughput?
No. Calculate headroom from peak feed, wear derating, target availability, and downstream constraints rather than applying one fixed percentage.

Review model specifications and application limits before requesting a quote so the supplier can check the recommendation against a defined duty.

PE / PEX Jaw Crusher

PE and PEX jaw-crusher models for granite, basalt, river stone, and ore duties. PE covers primary hard-rock reduction up to the listed 1,020 mm feed limit, while PEX variants use tighter discharge settings for secondary or fine crushing.

Project check

Ask for a recommendation against your operating conditions.

A useful reply needs the inputs that control feed acceptance, reduction ratio, product split, and real hourly duty.
